Omeletter

Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 September 2026

The short version. Omeletter does not collect, transmit or sell any personal information. The app has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and makes no network requests of its own. Everything you do in it stays on your device.

This policy explains how Fisheggs Pty Ltd ("we", "us") handles information in the Omeletter iPhone app and at omeletter.app. It is written to meet our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What the app stores

Omeletter keeps the following on your device, in the app's own storage, and nowhere else:

None of this is sent to us. We operate no servers that receive it, and we have no way to read it. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

What the website stores

The website plays the same puzzles in your browser. It uses local storage — a small store in your own browser — to remember which puzzles you have solved and your streak, so the site can show them when you come back. This is not a tracking cookie: it never leaves your browser, it is not readable by us or by anyone else's website, and clearing your browsing data clears it.

There are no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers on the site. When you share a result, the result is encoded in the part of the link after the # — which browsers never send to a server. We do not see what you share or who you share it with.

The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser's request to Google for that font file is subject to Google's privacy policy. We receive nothing from it.

Apple services you may choose to use

Two optional features involve Apple rather than us:

Apple also gives us aggregate, de-identified App Store and TestFlight statistics — downloads, crash counts and the like. These cannot identify you. Apple's handling of your information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

What we do not do

Children

Omeletter is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, children included. There is no chat, no user-generated content and no way for one player to contact another through the app.

If you contact us

If you email us for support, we will hold your message and your email address for as long as it takes to answer you, and we will not add you to any list. You may ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal information about you, there is generally nothing for us to give you access to or correct. If you believe we hold information about you, you may ask for access or correction, or complain about our handling of it, by emailing us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change ever means we start collecting something, we will say so plainly in the app before it takes effect.
