Questions, problems, or a puzzle you think is wrong
Email hello@omeletter.app. A real person reads it. If you are reporting a problem with a particular puzzle, please include the date and the game name — that is enough for us to find it.
The rule behind every game
Each answer is an anagram of the answer before it, plus or minus a single letter. The letters must actually move: taking a letter off the end and leaving the rest in place is never a legal step. So MEET → TEE is legal; MEET → MEE is not.

Common questions
- My answer is a real word but the app won't accept it.
- Each clue has exactly one intended answer, and we check that before publishing. British and American spellings of the same word are both accepted. If you are confident your answer fits the clue and makes a legal step, email us the date and game name — we do fix these.
- I lost my progress.
- Progress is stored on your device. Deleting the app, or restoring a device from a backup that predates your play, will clear it. There is no account, so there is nothing for us to restore from our end.
- I paid for the archive but it's locked on my new phone.
- Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with.
- Can I get a refund?
- Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot process them ourselves. If something went wrong, tell us anyway — we would like to know.
- Why does the timer keep running when I leave a puzzle?
- It doesn't. The timer pauses when you leave a puzzle and picks up where it left off when you come back.
- A clue looks offensive.
- Clues and answers are screened automatically against a blocklist before publication, but the screen is not perfect. Please tell us the date and game name and we will pull it.
- Is there an Android version?
- Not yet. The website plays the same daily puzzles in any modern browser, including on Android.
- How do I turn off sound or haptics?
- In the app, open Settings from the top right of the main screen. You can switch sound and haptics on or off, and replay the tutorial, from there.
